Sara Ramirez
Sara Ramirez was born in Mexico and is an American-Mexican actor. She also sings. Her mother raised her within the USA she had to face numerous racial insults and made her feel being unwelcome. It was during her ninth year that she started to feel more confident following her acclaim during an audition. It not only boosted her confidence but also shifted her career ambition. She graduated at the age of 22 with a degree from the Julliard School in New York. When she was 23, she started her professional career, making her debut on Broadway with Paul Simon's The Capeman and in films in You've got Mail. The most notable accomplishment of her career occurred when she played The Lady of The Lake on Spamalot's first Broadway production. She did not only receive the Tony Award, but her performance was also well-received by reviewers. She gained more recognition for her appearance on Grey's Anatomy on ABC as Dr. Callie Torres. As a well-known singer, she released her own single and an extended show. In her role as an activist, she works tirelessly in the cause of LGBT equality.
