Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson was born 1972, into a family of wrestlers. With World Wrestling Entertainment (W.W.E.) he entered the wrestling ring and took home the W.W.E. The championship for Heavyweight was won multiple times. Johnson went on to turn his popularity in the arena into a lucrative career as an actor in film as well, appearing as a character in The Mummy Returns and Tooth Fairy. The other projects comprise the HBO show Ballers, prominent roles in Fast & Furious and Jumanji franchises and an acting voice in Disney's Moana. On the day of his birthday, we are able to simply say that we appreciate a celebrity as famous as him. Dwayne D. Johnson, a.k.a Dwayne the Rock is an American wrestler, actor and entrepreneur who is best known for his stage name The Rock. The Rock was born in the family of a wrestler, and later made a name himself as a professional wrestler. Johnson was born in California on May 2, 1972. The mother of Rocky Johnson Ata and his father, John are both professional wrestlers. Peter Maivia, the maternal grandpa of Johnson's mother ata gained fame on the world of wrestling during the 1960s and 1970s. Johnson was a young traveler with his family and saw his father wrestle in the ring. Johnson was a football player in high school, and received an athletic scholarship to the University of Miami, where Johnson excelled. He received his bachelor of General Studies (criminology and biology) during the same year.
