Ali MacGraw

Ali MacGraw (Elizabeth Alice MacGraw) is an American animal rights advocate, writer also a model, actor and author. Her movies include Love Story (1970), Goodbye Columbus ( 1969) and The Getaway ( 1972). Growing up in an artistic family living in New York she wished to be a part of the art. After working as assistant to photographers She turned her focus to acting and modeling. The actress was awarded her the Golden Globe Award in 1990 as a promising young actress. MacGraw's film Love Story proved a major smash and brought her world notoriety, along with the Academy Award' nomination and a Golden Globe award. With just three movies she was the highest-rated female box office star worldwide. Her footprints, handwritten in 1972 and signatures were recorded at Grauman's Chinese Theater. Also, she appeared in The Getaway Convoy Players TV Miniseries The Winds of War, along with other films. In 1991, her autobiography Moving Pictures came out. MacGraw's been married three different times.
