Zoe-perry

Perry has the father of actor Laurie Metcalf, and Jeff Perry. Her first appearance was in television shows in the role of Jackie Harris, a character played by her mother in her role on the ABC comedy Roseanne. She did not pursue acting as a career until she reached the age of adulthood due to her parents being worried about the detrimental effects that stress could have. Perry was a shy teenager and didn't act. Her first acting experience was at Northwestern University to gain friends after she was transferred from Boston University. After graduating Perry relocated to New York to search for television work landing small roles in series like Law & Order: Criminal Intent but homesickness brought the actress back to California where she found theater jobs. The Other Place was performed by her and her mom on Broadway in 2013 In 2015, she performed with her father and Kevin McKidd in Eugene O'Neill's Pulitzer Prize-winning drama Anna Christie in the Odyssey Theatre Ensemble in West Los Angeles. Perry played nine roles in The Family, an ABC film The Family, in 2016. In 2017, Perry had a role on ABC's political thriller Scandal with her father. She also played in the role of a older Mary Cooper in Young Sheldon - which is a CBS spin-off of The Big Bang Theory. Despite having a family connection to the character she received the role via an audition.
