Ina-Garten
Ina Garten is a well-known American cook book writer and Emmy award winning host of Food Networks current oldest show Barefoot Contessa that debuted in 2002 and has aired up to 2020 in 27 seasons. Ina began her writing career by with nuclear energy policy and budgets for the White House. Ina initially enjoyed the intellectual stimulation of her work, but she soon stopped her interest. Instead, she bought Barefoot Contessa, a specialty food shop. After more than 18 years of making her store a huge success, she sold it, and then began writing her first novel. Many other books and magazine articles followed. The Food Network TV show also began its first season, and was a huge success. Her range of items spans from the kitchen equipment, cooking and baking materials as well as storage containers. Ina she has not attended any cookery schools, or worked in a restaurant and she is entirely self-taught. Her name is associated with her casual manner of cooking as well as entertaining. Her name is associated with her straightforward recipes such as Skillet Grilled Lemon Chicken Macaroni and Cheese with Beef Bourguignon and Balsamic-Roasted Brussels Sprouts.
